Overview of the Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit Program
The Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit Program was created pursuant to Act 85 of 2012. This program enables eligible students, residing within the boundaries of a low-achieving school, to apply for a scholarship to attend a participating public or nonpublic school. List of Eligible Schools
Students who reside in the attendance boundary of one of these schools may be eligible for an Opportunity Scholarship for the 2012-13 school year. Schools selection is based on combined math and reading scores from the 2010-11 PSSA. Click here to see the list of schools.
