School Improvement Planning

"Getting Results!" is a framework for school improvement planning initially developed by the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE). The "Getting Results!" Framework, that is linked below, has been adapted for use in the School District of Philadelphia. It is one among a number of tools and support services that have been developed by the Office of School Intervention and Support for school leadership team members to use in the planning process.

All Philadelphia schools are required to develop a school improvement plan. Charter schools that are in School Improvement or Corrective Action must also develop School Improvement Plans. All schools must use the "Getting Results!" Framework.

The core practices outlined in "Getting Results!" will work in all schools that want to improve student achievement. It is one of many tools designed to support the alignment of curriculum, instruction and assessment practices at the school, District and State levels.
