- Capital funds are used to purchase furniture and equipment for new and replacement schools; additions and space conversions; and modernization of existing schools when capital funds are primarily used For the construction.
- When capital funds are not available, requests for new furniture and equipment are to be directed to the Office for Field Operations.
- The Department of Facilities Improvements is to be contacted if further clarification is needed in reference to use of Capital Funds.
