Immunodepressed children (and adults) are at greater risk of suffering severe complications from such infections as chickenpox, cytomegalovirus*, tuberculosis, herpes simplex, and measles.

All persons KNOWN to be diagnosed as HTLV/III/LAV are to be excluded from school in the event there is an outbreak of these diseases.

Also, School Health Services Procedure Number 303.0, II, G;303.6, I, C; and School Operation Manual Procedures 503.0, I.D.; 503.4, D are to be followed.
