A. If a developing storm leads to a decision by the Superintendent to close all schools at noon, every attempt will be made to have that information on radio and television by 11:00 a.m.. If the decision is to close schools during the afternoon, but before the regular dismissal time, every attempt will be made to have that information broadcast by 1:00 p.m.
B. Relays will be sent promptly to all administrative and school offices indicating the time of dismissal of pupils and staff.
1. If an administrative or school office telephone is busy, the Cluster Office, central office, or school office sending the relay must ask the telephone operator to break in for the emergency relay.
2. Each Cluster Office must have a listing of the custodians' phone numbers in every school or administrative office in the district. These numbers are to be used for emergencies when the school office cannot be reached.
